So What You’re Saying Is…

I have lots to tell you about today so let’s jump right in! First, Slink has updated its mesh products including the body, hands and feet. While I haven’t looked closely at the body, I’m loving the update to the hands which is what I want to tell you about here. In addition to creating a true glove option, you now have an extremely updated HUD. Just LOOK!

In addition to being able to control your hands and feet with one HUD (cleaner inventory, yea!) you now have the ability to control each individual nail color! This is just WOW! I’m showing how this works with The {Wicked} Peach’s Comic nails since they are so colorful. Check out the closeup of the nails in the 2nd pic above. Using the Slink HUD I was able to pick which applier went on which nail. You simply show the nails you want to effect (they are the flesh colored ones above) and hide the ones you don’t want to effect (they are the black colored ones above) by clicking the nails on the HUD then click your applier. Simple! I’m really looking forward to mixing and matching colors and even different applier sets with this new functionality. To get the update, head over to Slink and hit the redelivery terminal.

Next, J.L. Designs has come out with a new living room set called the Easton. The pose sets are the same as the ones in the Canyon set reviewed in a previous post. I want to highlight the difference in the look of the sets here. The complete set comes in at 48LI but once you’ve rezzed it out with the simple rez box, you can pick and choose which pieces stay and where they fit within your room’s look. Here I’m showing the candle art, sofa, rug and coffee table, but additional items included in the set are a chair, end tables, lamps, sofa table, plant, globe and vase decor, and multiple rezzable options on top of the coffee table through the menu. It also has 27 fabric, 9 wood and 27 pillow styles to choose from. I was cycling through all the options and just stopped here on purple, cuz you know, purple. I added a few more items to personalize my space, but if you like a nice look, functionality and ease of use, you can’t go wrong with this new set. Head over to the store to see the rezzed demo and look through the texture options to make sure there’s one you love (like purple).

I’ve already talked lots and haven’t even mentioned my outfit! The Fashion Fair is still going on which is where this cute top from alterego with a pretty pattern and little added sleeves can be found. The Creepy Kawaai Fair has so many cute items with a twist including this hair from Ayashi which has optional horns you can hide or show through the HUD. Reign has a gacha machine there and I got a couple of the pieces including this bow headband. Finally, my little giraffe from Half-Deer follows me everywhere and is a great listener! This isn’t all that’s in my look so keep reading down to the list and off you go on today’s shopping trip!
