Keeping Warm On A Cold Winter’s Night with J.L. Designs

The focus of this post is a new living room set from J.L. Designs. I’ve reviewed his products before and have enjoyed his creativity, unique animations and the cleverness of his designs that make them very customizable and land impact efficient. The Canyon Living Room Set comes in a rez box for super easy set up if you just want to rez and go. Once the pieces are rezzed you can move them around to make your own configuration and decide if you want to keep all the pieces or just some of them. Here’s a look at all the pieces in the set that I moved around a bit to fit the layout of the room:

Once the pieces are in place, it’s time to start tinkering with the color menu found inside the couch. There are 23 different fabric styles, 9 wood color choices and 34 rug styles loaded into this set! Choosing the colors from this one menu will change all the related pieces in the set at once so it’s very easy to create a consistent look. With so many options I’m sure you’ll find something you like, but you can cycle through them at the store to make sure. I picked the color set I liked best and that also complimented my outfit for the pics here. Don’t forget to check out the coffee table! There are 9 different scenes loaded into the table so you can change the look of your decor with just one click or clear the table to add your own knick knacks. Decorating could not be simpler! I have a few of the different options peeking in throughout the pics, but again you can cycle through them in the store to see just how versatile the decor items are.

Now that you have the look you want for your space, it’s time to use the animations menu! You can purchase this set in either PG or Adult and I’m reviewing the adult version here. Although my clothes stayed on (I’ll be telling you about the look a bit later), I don’t think you’ll have a problem seeing just how extensive the animation menu is. The sofa and the chair both have their own separate animations and in total you’re getting 259 poses with 408 animations from some of Second Life’s finest creators in an XPose engine that’s fully XCite! compatible. That’s a lot of animations! They range from solo, chatting, relaxing, gaming, cuddling and various foreplay and intimate options. Here’s just a small taste of what you’ll find in these extensive animation menus:
